The differences and comparisons between wave pipe stop valves and ordinary stop valves

The corrugated pipe stop valve, also known as the corrugated pipe sealing stop valve, is designed through automatic roll welding to create a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere, ensuring zero leakage of the valve stem.

Compared with traditional stop valves, it has the following advantages:

1. The corrugated pipe stop valve has a long service life, reduces the frequency of maintenance, and lowers operating costs. The sturdy and durable corrugated pipe sealing design ensures zero leakage of the valve stem and provides a maintenance-free condition.

2. The opening and closing torque of the valve is small, reducing the labor intensity. Moreover, it can be driven by any type of driving device, facilitating remote control.

3. The appearance is attractive. The valve passage has a smooth streamline, reducing the flow resistance coefficient of the valve. It is a high-quality energy-saving product.

4. The external sealing of the valve is achieved through bellows sealing and graphite or stainless steel gaskets. The sealing is reliable and does not require the replacement of sealing packing for a long period of use.

In industrial applications, leakage caused by globe valves: for high-temperature, highly toxic, flammable and explosive, and radioactive media, not only pollutes the environment, but also frequently leads to significant personal and property losses. Such valves are much safer and more stable. In their design and manufacturing, they strictly follow advanced foreign standards.

The advantages and applications of the corrugated pipe stop valve

The bellows stop valve has no leakage and is relatively safe for applications involving hazardous media. Ordinary stop valves use packing seals, and the valve stem and packing will slide against each other, which can lead to leakage (valve core) at low temperatures. The bellows stop valve uses a stretchable and compressible sealed bellows to replace the packing seal, which can effectively prevent external leakage caused by packing wear. It is generally used for the transportation of highly permeable media, such as valves in hydrogen systems. As long as the bellows is not damaged, there will generally be no external leakage; while ordinary stop valves use packing for sealing, leakage is prone to occur.

The stroke of the valve stem for this type of valve is relatively short, and it has a very reliable cutting function. Moreover, due to the proportional relationship between the change in the valve seat opening and the stroke of the valve disc, it is highly suitable for regulating the flow rate.

Therefore, this type of valve is highly suitable for use in cutting off, regulating and throttling applications.
